Two members of the board of Birmingham-based Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB) have resigned.
The bank’s chairman Mohsen Moustafa will step down from 31 December and non-executive director Abdul Hakim Al Adhamy is to resign with effect from 10 November, the Aim-listed bank said in a statement to the stock exchange.
The Islamic bank posted a loss of £4.3 million for the first six months of the year, a slight improvement on the situation in the same period last year when it posted losses of £4.6 million.
Over the summer the bank raised £20 million through a placing of new shares through founding shareholder Qatar International Islamic Bank.
