The 13th EURO FINANCE WEEK is held from 15 to 19 November 2010 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, under the auspices of Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany.
As part of the 13th EURO FINANCE WEEK the “Islamic Finance Conference” takes place in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks on Thursday, 18 November 2010, in Frankfurt am Main. Institutional partner of the conference is the Institute for Islamic Banking and Finance and the Global Islamic Finance magazine is among the media partners of the event.
The main focus of the “Islamic Finance Conference” will be on challenges and opportunities of the Islamic Finance in Germany and in Europe. The conference will feature regulatory perspectives on Islamic Finance and discuss investment trends, Sukuk’s opportunities as well as Islamic Wealth Management, and last not least provide an outlook on Islamic Finance in Europe. The main objective of this conference is to acquaint larger audience in Europe with financing according to the Islamic rules. Germany has begun to tap into the worldwide growing market of Islamic Finance for retail and institutional clients, and this conference will be a milestone at this stage.
